The National Airline Kenya Airways operates numerous flights, including services to Eldoret, Kisumu, Lamu Island, Lockichogio, Malindi and Mombasa. Air Kenya serves flights to the National Parks and to cities such as Amboseli, Kilimanjaro, Kiwayu, Lamu, Malindi, Masai Mara, Mombasa, Nanyuki and Samburu.

There are also private flights to the national parks.

Kenya has about 250 airports and airstrips, of a very varied quality, the most important airports are:
  • Jomo Kenyatta International Airport(NBO), located in Nairobi at twenty minutes from the main center, is the arrival point to Kenya and the hub of East African Transport.
  • Wilson Airport(WIL), Located in Nairobi is a hub for flights to the nature reserves in Kenya, serves also local and international flights.
  • Moi International Airport(MBA), located in Mombasa, is the second most important airport after Jomo Kenyatta.
  • Kisumu Airport, services local internal flights only.
  • Eldoret International Airport.
There are direct flights to Kenya from Amsterdam, Athens, Brussels, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Madrid, London, Moscow, Paris, Rome, and Zurich. Flights are strongly booked during the high season, always buy your tickets in advance, prices may vary depending on the season and airline. There are no direct flights from the United States.
